Bonnie Wellness is a unique approach to Health and Well-Being that focuses on the whole person (body, mind and spirit). Bonnie is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN); Certified by American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP).

As a Certified Holistic Health & Nutritional Coach, I work with individuals to help guide them on their path to a healthier and more vibrant life. An ongoing supportive relationship is established and positive changes are developed for long term habits. Your program is designed to provide you with the tools you need to create a lifetime of healthy eating and living to support your optimal health and wellness.

Every program is set up individually, based on each person's health concerns and unique needs. for some, that means developing a plan to improve their current state of health. For others, it means finding ways to maintain wellness and prevent future health problems. For all, it is a program that will enrich their quality of life!!

You will understand food and how it affects your body, mind and spirit. You will also know how to buy healthy food and how to prepare it in a healthy way that is simple, quick, and tasty. We also address your "primary food", which are issues relating to other areas of your life that "feed" and "nourish" you at the deepest level and impact your relationship with food (exercise, career, relationships, and spirituality).

As a Holistic Health & Nutritional Coach, I am your personal advocate for living an energized and passionate life. Whatever your concerns are, my job is to help you find which foods and lifestyle choices work best for you. I have an office in LaGrangeville NY, and am available for phone consultation nationwide.

A true holistic approach to life incorporates things other than food that nourish you, including love, intimacy, enjoying your work, physical activity, and time with friends and loved ones. I will work with you to help find a balance in all of these areas.

Programs

Like most of us, you have probably tried a variety of diets, and may even have managed to do well on some for a few weeks or even months. However, the emphasis such diets placed on willpower, deprivation and denial is both unnecessary and counter-productive. The reality is that, unless you have a plan that is practical, works with your lifestyle, and takes your individuality into account, it will not last. I can help you to create such a plan.

Your plan includes:

  • Two, one-hour sessions a month, including detailed recommendations
  • Unlimited e-mail support between sessions
  • Access to my amazing lending library of Health and Wellness books and CDs
  • A Health Food Store or Green Market Tour*
  • Hands-on cooking class that will focus on quick and easy meals*

Conventional dietary theories present you with food restrictions and limitations that are difficult to sustain over time. such quick fixes do nothing to help you achieve life-long wellness, nor do they bring out the body's natural inclination toward balance. Together, we will introduce new and healthful foods and activities, gently and slowly. As you start to feel better, these habits have a natural tendency to take hold and ease out the less healthful ones.

ONE MONTH [Two one-hour private sessions]  $250

Suggested for those who are self-motivated and disciplined in their daily choices and want to fine-tune their eating habits and lifestyle concerns. Cooking class and Health Food Store Tour are not included in this package but may be purchased separately.


THREE MONTHS [Six one-hour private sessions]   $660

With your needs and preferences in mind, you'll make gradual dietary and lifestyle changes by learning to prepare simple, delicious and nutritious meals quickly and easily. Begin to develop your intuition about nutrition.


SIX MONTHS [Twelve one-hour private sessions]   $1200

Appropriate for those who require more time to make lifestyle changes and integrate healthy food choices. This program will help you to further deepen your intuition around food.

Health Food Store Tours*

A guided and educational tour, offering detailed explanations of the nutritional benefits of foods and demystifying many food-fictions. Learn how to shop for fresh, seasonal produce, read nutrition labels, get money saving tips for shopping, and so much more. Tours are $50 for guests (non-clients) and no additional cost for current Bonnie Wellness clients.

Whole Food Cooking Classes*

Learn to cook nourishing meals that are easy to prepare and taste delicious! Recipes focus on seasonal vegetables, and foods rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. All classes are hands on, so you can learn how fun and simple healthy cooking can be. Classes are $80 for guests (non-clients), and no additional cost for current Bonnie Wellness clients.

I do not believe in the "one-size-fits-all" approach with respect to diet, exercise, and our well-being. We are all individuals and should be treated as such. Making gradual dietary and lifestyle changes that take into account each person's individuality, health concerns, lifestyle, background, metabolism, cravings, and the foods that they enjoy eating.
